Welcome to the “Brew Co,” founded and operated by James Brown.
James opened the restaurant in November 1999 after four months of construction to expand the former John T’s Tavern, which had been in operation from the early 1990s until its closure in 1998.
San Pedro Brewing Company features an award-winning selection of original, hand-crafted ales and lagers, the finest spirits, great American cuisine, live entertainment weekly, a kids menu, plus catering and party facilities all right here at your friendly neighborhood pub.
We hope to see you soon at the original “Brew Co” of San Pedro!
“This San Pedro brewpub is one of the oldest in Los Angeles, and the beers just keep getting better. The menu’s loaded with sandwiches and seafood treats, and the brews cover the classic brewpub styles (IPAs, amber ale, blond ale) with a few welcome surprises (like the Longshoreman Pilsner, a perfect choice to enjoy on the patio).” – Los Angeles TimesRead more
Came here for my birthday... First time here and the staff was amazing. Made me feel like family. Jessica the bartender was absolutely phenomenal. Drinks were tasty. Not too strong and not too weak. Just right.
They had a great selection of beers! I ended up having the Mayberry IPA and ordering the Salmon with vegetables. The salmon was well prepared and delicious! The bartender, Wendy, took her time to help me with my beer selection and with the food. This place is doing it right!
I've eaten at this restaurant a few times. Have never had a bad experience and the atmosphere is great. My grandsons graduation was here in the back room and the server was absolutely excellent. Food was great and so were the drinks. The owner came in to see how everything was and I thought that was really nice.
Great Place. Food is excellent and great sports bar atmosphere. Everything on the menu from the apps to the entrees is great. Haven't had a bad thing on the menu. Don't miss going to restaurant if you are in the area.
I've been here a couple of times and I've never had a bad experience. Drinks, food, and service are all great. I recommend trying the midori sour. You won't regret it. Thanks guys!
